for body kits, just for the base (skeleton) of it i use 1.0mm. for winglets, canards i use 0.4 or 0.5mm sheets, but for wings it depends on the style.

I don't just stick to certain sizes, I just eyeball which ever piece looks like it will work. If you asked me what size I used on ANY of my models you would just get a blank stare because I do not know.

Can anyone sell me some Styrene sheets? Preferably .40? And if ur wondering why im not buying it from Tower Hobbies its cuz there shipping is way too much and its not worth it for a sheet of styrene thats only 3 bucks with a shipping of almost 9 bucks.

What shipping are you selecting from Tower to pay that much??
I have never paid more than $5 for shipping on even my largest orders....
If you can order several items at once it also makes it more worthwhile.

Get all of them. They will come handy later, and you never have to make another trip.

I apologise, I just checked and they have increased their shipping rates since I last placed an order 2 months ago
