whats your operating temp on 06

anyone that has an 06 mali with the 3.5 what is your normal operating temp. i have an 06LTZ my temp gauge sits about rite on the half mark sometimes when im idling for a bit it will go about 3/4 till i start moving again it never goes past that al ltho it seems kinda high to me it never goes in the red but seems like it gets close there no #s on the gauge just lines so i really dont know what the temps are

What you describe is normal, the fans will not come till around 230 F. With AC on it will not go above center, fans on all the time.

my wifes car is an 07 2.2, but I had exactly the same concerns, glad you posted. I thought it ran hot too, especially with the ac on.
