88-91 civic seats will bolt in. thats it. everyother set of seats requires modifications, but the ones i've found are closest to fitting are 90-93 teg seats. two bolt line right up, one only needs a small spacer, but the rails are the same length. CRX seats, as well as Del Sol seats are about 2 inches too skinny. I havent tried any others, but i know the 96-00 seats have totally different mounting points.. havent tried 92-95 ones..

Yup..the closest are the 90-93 Teg. I have a 91 teg seat in my sedan. I removed the front mount piece from the Civic rail and bolted it to the Teg rail. However, the teg seats have the seatbelt roll for the auto belts like Civic 4-doors, so for me that worked great. I've been too lazy to do the other seat..and will prolly save it til I swap the engine and do all that stuff at once.
But you'll have to do modifications to just about ANY other seat than what came in your car - I even think there are differences between 88-89 and 90-91's ![]() If you are interested, here is a link to my Teg seat install so you can see what I did. But again, I got lucky cuz the rails and all lined up, I just had to swap the brackets from the Civic to the Teg rails to make them line up. http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/t88845.html

I still wanna get teg seats for my car ... I cant think of anything else that will work good with the auto seatbelts.

90 Si or CRX seats.. Everything else is different.. Each year for 4th gen Civics is different.. Why? Who knows.. Then in 92+ they started to make most all parts compatable.
92-95 seats require quite a bit of work, but I did it.

88-91 civic seats will bolt in
that is not true, 88 and 89 seats will not bolt right in, they dont fit, 90 and 91 seats will fit the car, and dx and SI seats will bolt right in.
