95 Corolla valve adjustment
Just bought my son a '95 Corolla with 125k on it. After talking to the previous owner I highly doubt that the valves were ever adjusted. I need to do a FULL tune up anyway so I figured I'd ask about this. I've never done a valve adjustment on any car I've ever owned. I need to also do it on my Lexus but I'll do the Corolla first b/c it will be easier. I plan on getting the Haynes manual anyway. (ad to my collection) But can anyone tell me the procedure and clearance of doing the valve adjustment? I was reading about the Lexus and it mentioned shims, does that also apply to the Corolla?
