Hi everyone

Awesome kit, I used quite a few detail parts for this build, Crazy Modeler PE Basic set, MFHiro heat sheild, SMS carbon fibres & Zeros Bicanco Fuji.

Let me know what you think, thanks for looking
Ash

Thanks

Hi,

First post, but I have to say I just looked over your WIP thread, and I'm utterly inspired! Thanks for putting it all up for us to pore over. I love the amount of detail you've put into the kit, it's great.

What brand of decal did you use for the CF on the monocoque btw? And how did you make the suspension springs?

Once again, great build! Looks simply awesome.

Re: Ferrari FXX No 17 Bianco Fuji (Pearl White)

Nice to see it done. With the amount of time spent on it, it turned out really good. Engine bay looks sweet. Can't wait to start mine if i ever will.

The only thing i can critique on is the photography. Its good, but i think your builds would look even better if you took outdoor shots on a big piece of paper. Likw the first three, but with a nice solid background. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for sharing.

Thanks heaps, wow first post, im honored.
The CF i used on the monoque was Scale Motorsports Twill weave 1:24, theyve recently changed the silver colour to a darker grey which is more realistic. Very nice to work with too.
Springs were pretty easy, cut the plastic insert ali rod, add small styrene tube & wind Ingnition wire around a tube thats a similar diameter to the plastic part.

Thanks MidMazer, yeah i really need to get better at photography. I'm gonna set up a small photo booth in my model cabinet but the current lights are all yellow based halogens, ive been looking for blue based ones but havent managed to find any. Most of my building is done at night so need to sort out some lighting, maybe then i could work on getting a build published....

Thanks everyone!!

Great job on all the detailing. It's nice that it's not in the conventional red colour. I also think that some more outdoor photography would probably help show it off better.

I can't wait to see the LaFerrari in pearl white! It's a classy color but it suits sport cars very well! I love the reflections of this color on the FXX!
