97 Yukon Rasitor Flush

Sorry RADIATOR Flush:

Is this a DIY project. I am trying to same some money and I am hoping that someone can give me some tips or instructions on how to do this. I've watched many videos on utube but never saw anyone do a yukon flush. I've searched for the radiator cock/plug but cannot seem to locate it, wondering if I need to remove a splash pan or something. Any help and instructions are welcomed.

Re: 97 Yukon Rasitor Flush

from online pics, it's on the driver side bottom on the plastic tank facing the engine... maybe have to remove the lower panel to see it more clearly

same side as the top radiator hose outlet ; it's a plastic tank with a plastic drain valve so take care not to strip it

my sis' 97 chevy cavalier didn't have a drain plug so i resorted to removing the lower radiator hose and let it drain out that way

i don't put that flush kit on, but do it this way:

i close the drain plug, fill with some distilled water and warm it up, cool it down, drain and repeat at least 2 times on my vehicle (it's time consuming) before doing a final fill of coolant/ distilled water mix
.................................................. .
from youtubes vids:

i guess you already know about making sure there's no air bubbles on the final fill, by putting the heater on full blast while your idling the vehicle a special deep funnel over the radiator fill hole is especially good for burping the system

and to check/ replace the radiator cap
