2001 4runner rearview mirror help

Just recently purchased a 2001 4runner. The rearview mirror was in the truck, but no longer attached. There seems to be a part missing that holds the mirror. Can anyone send me a pic of what it looks like, or point me in the right direction to get the part needed? Thanks!

It 's a rear view mirror support. It usually comes with the mirror. If it's the basic type mirror you can go with this type. http://shop.carbodyparts.net/search....ar_view_mirror. You can check with the dealer to see if the sell just the metal support. Also check auto parts stores.

Thanks! It looks so simple to fix, but I have searched the internet over and can't find anything about repair or parts or anything.

I have called some salvage yards and wasn't sure what exactly to tell them that I needed... One offered to let me come look at a wrecked rig they just got in. Guess I will go check it out. Thanks again for your help.
