Tinting Windows - Which % Film?
Hello,
I would like to tint the windows on my Lumina but I do not know what film I have to use. Lumina got factory windows in. I think the tinting on the factory windows are between 4-6%. The law in Florida says Quote:
It also says that there are Sticker Requirements and that the sticker to identify legal tinting is required on the inside of the driver’s side doorjamb. What if I do it by myself? I do not have a sticker. Anyone who knows about this? Thank you |

Re: Tinting Windows - Which % Film?
If u went with 35% on front windows and 20% on back windows, You would be obeying Florida's window tint laws. I highly doubt that the Lumina's factory windows are 4-6%. 4-6% is limo tint which is very very dark. The lower the number, the darker the tint. The film that you should use is a lifetime warranty film. I highly recommend that you go to a tint shop to have it done, because tint shops have the best quality films.
