Unhappy Lumina 2001 LTZ v6 3.8 acting up :(

My Lumina 2001 LTZ v6 3.8 has been acting weird lately
Poblems:

1. Slow acceleration especially during initial pickup
2. Whenever I hit on gas, there is a buzzing sort of noise.
3. The car does start normally, but when the car is heated (after running for a while), it takes a while to start. I changed the "self" and battery but the problem still persists, there seems to be slight improvement but not completely resolved.
4. There is a jerk like feeling when shifting to "D" gear. Also, there seem to be a delay of 3~4 seconds in shifting to "D" from netural/parking.

I got gear filter, oil filter and both oils changed and not to forget the spark plugs, yet not of much benefit..

I'm really at my wits end! I'm in desperate need of some good advice.
Any help would be highly appreciated

Tough to tell what it is you describe, the slow accel and buzz could be from the trans as it starts in 2 cnd or 3rd in default, maybe a scan for codes may help, but I cannot tell from here if this is trans or engine related.

Thank you for your response.

Will try to get the codes, btw, could it be something else like catcon, fuel pressure...or something else "less severe"?

I would suggest someone familiar with diagnosing these symptoms drive the car. Hmm, I see where you are, not going to happen! You would have no power at high speeds with anything you mentioned in your last post.

Hmm...the power is actually good enough at high speeds, its only during the initial pickup.
Actually, the car works quite fine after reaching into 3rd gear (I think) if you ignore the buzzing noise.

You know its really hard to find someone "good" where I live; I've shown to couple of ppl, and all give totally different opinions pertaining to their field of work.

Let me see if I can find somebody; this is really becoming a pain.
