99 F-150 reliablity

ok im lookin at a 99 F-150 with extended cab xlt fully loaded with automatic, v6 with 72000 for 10400 starting price.

does anyone think this is a good price for what i get. also how reliable or f-150s once they start gettin close to 100000 miles this is really the only thing holding me back from getting it. when i test drove it i didn't hear ne audible sounds but im gonna get the dealer to have it thoroughly gone through before i buy it (if i do buy it)

that has a ton of miles on it for being a 99, and that asking price is just about average depends of the shape and wear on the engine if it was treated good, would be $10,800.00 thats what the book says now, try to get him to go down on the price mainly due to the miles on it, fords also seem to be very reliable after 100000K miles they need regularly fix ups like anything else, your basics.
