Lightbulb 95 firebird 3.8 to v8

Can you swap out the 3.8 and put in a 305 or 350 ? will i have to change the tranny as well?

what sort of mounting issues will i have?

can i do anything larger than a 350?

am looking at a cheap frame with a working 3.8 and dying tranny. might buy if it can be rebuilt how i want it.
any help is much appreciated

you can put what ever you want in to it, as long as its a gm brand. Just dont go over board, my friend had a 454 in a 79 camaro and the carb was too big. a 350 is your best bet, just make sure you have a 5 speed auto tranny in the car cause my 305 runs like a 350 but its got a 4 soeed auto, as far as mounting, just make sure you got stroung enough engine mounts as long at its a GM brand or edlebrock you should be good.
