H22 in a CRX?

Has anyone put a H22 in a 88+ civic? anyone have any websites for this?

u know i heard about this guy over here thats putting a h22a into a crx with turbo, idk gonna be fast, of course his mommy and daddy paid for it all, the kids only like 16

i knew someone was gonna say something about it, just so you know if i do this it will be a pretty much stright line car, hopfully capable to keep up with vettes

Yea, does anyone make a mount kit, i looked at hasport and they dont. sizewise will it fit or am i gonna have to take a sawsall out?

Damn i had the name of this new company. I have to go to this one shop and ask them again. THis company said u can just drop the h22 rite in with no cutting and all that crap! Just give me till tuesday and i'll get the name for u.

I'm pretty sure you will have to either cut out your pass. fender, or dent it in. Otherwise the H22 Tranny wont fit.

An h22a will fit but the shifter is cable style not rod so you have to cut a hole in tranny tunnel. There is guy over in Daytona Beach that has a Stock H22a in a six gen HB and smokes the V-8s reguarely. Ever seen a stang owner bow his head in shame cause he lost to a stock civic, with "only a small engine swap"

Well this new company that i was talkin about doesn't require all that cutting and welding. They have it positioned where u can just drop the motor in.

Yeh but that doesn't mean that shit is safe. I still wouldn't go h22 unless i'm using it for drag only.

If i do this it is going to be a car that comes out only a few times a week to hit up the local drag strips or redlights... I want to keep my integra and do it more just for show now - and build a car with alot of go
