gauge problem

1994 ram with 5.2 153k


ok i replaced a bulb in my gauge cluster didnt even unplug it or take all the way out now all gauges but oil pressure dont work turnsignal lights cum on headlight high beam light works and when i turn key on abs light only light that comes on speedo n rpm dead also i would greatly appreciate any help

check electrical wires maybe some of them are unplugged. for gauges, I suggest you get AutoMeter, it's cheap, accurate and durable.

thanks for the replies i have been thru all fuses there is only 2 plug on the back and they clean and tight gas gauge and oil pressure still all i got.is it nessasary for all bulbs to be in for guages to work

does the dome light work?
does any lights work on the power windows or dash?

is it just the speedo only

maybe you blew out the speedo? does the gauges still move?

no gauges work the whole thing lights up tho im just missing 2 dummy lights.fuel and oilpressure the only 2 that work like normal.ty for the diagram ima go beak out my meter right now and see whats goin on cant figure out for the life of me how all this could happen just replacing 1 bulb i pulled the cluster out unplugged it put bulb in pluged up and it hasnt worked since

ok im very happy now the power line in the board burnt in 1 spot i shaved down each sides of the burt hole to expose the copper and solder filled the gap everything works perfect now ty for diagram it made it alot easier
