2000 Elantra warning light question...
2000 Elantra had the battery and brake warning lights pop on last night when the car was started. They're not "bright" liike they would be if the emergency brake was on, about half the intensity. Started and shut engine off couple of times, stayed on really dim. Any suggestions? Can email me at [email protected] or answer on here. Thanks in advance...Art

Re: 2000 Elantra warning light question...
your alternator is failing... that or you need a new drive belt because it's stretched
goto an autoparts place & have them test your alternator and battery on the vehicle many do that for free like autozone or advance autoparts (pepboys will only bench test it for free) ------------------why i suggest to get your battery tested too? because usually it fails to since your alternator cant keep it charged |
