Rerouting the power for my cigarette lighter
My cigarette lighter crapped out on me. After getting a new one (and it not working), I tested the wires to see if there was even any current which there is not. So there's gotta be a short in the wiring.
It's not worth it to take it to a shop to have them rip the dash apart to find the problem. So instead I'd just like to wire the cigarette lighter into somewhere else. If I can, where would I be able to re-wire it to? I was thinking maybe the battery wire that supplies the constant power to the radio? |
