Help with suping up a 2.0 jetta automatic

I have a 2000 jetta 2.0 gl automatic and I would like to sup it up and add a little more power or speed without doing an engine swap. I know I can change out the air intake but idk what else I can do. Please help out with suggestions thanks

Re: Help with suping up a 2.0 jetta automatic

Supercharge it for about $3000 and add a performance catback for another $600. These engines are not designed for supping up cheap. The 1.8L turbo is the way to go when buying these cars.

lighter!! carbon fiber hood and trunk. They look awesome I wish i could afford them right now! Racing brakes and rotors make the car stop faster and look sweet
