06 focus..blinking pass airbag light

the light on the passenger airbag indicator blinks on occassion..goes out then back on minuites or hours later...no owners manual.any help?.before i'm off to dealer?....car was just purchased so i do not know if air bag was disabled..thats my guess for the cause...any ideas?

The blinks of the air bag light will tell you what the trouble code is. For example, if it blinks 2 times, pauses then blinks 3 times, the trouble code is 23. If you can do this for me I will be able to tell you what is wrong.

does that work with only the air bag swich on the dash...its the passenger airbag switch that blinks .the main airbag light in the instrument cluster does not blink at all

I think it would work with the passenger side airbag.
