Issues with the electronics 2001 Eclipse Spyder
Hi there,
I'm having a problem with my girlfriends car. Seems she let her ex-boyfriend attempt to install an after-market stereo and apparently this guy could mess up a wet dream because he managed to kill every single electronic component in the whole damn car. I've managed to get everything working again except for two things that I just can't get my head around. 1. The stereo powers up and is playing music but there is no sound from the speakers. 2 The dash lights don't come one when you switch on the lights but the dummy lights work (seatbelt, gear position, check engine...) |

Re: Issues with the electronics 2001 Eclipse Spyder
I would check fuses for the light problem, the illumination for the radio could have knocked out that fuse if it were shorted. As for the no sound problem, the amp under the passenger seat could be bypassed/disconnected/crapped out. If there is an amp that is.
