nissan engine pics
hey i just bought a revell datsun 240z. it came with a straight six, but i am putting a chevy V8. anyway i decided to try to clone a skyline engineout of the six. i already melted on a second half of the cyl. head and melted together a wider valvecoer to make it dohc. anyway, i don't care if its not perfect, i just want to have something to resemble it. so i need pics of some skyline engines with a twin turbo setup so i know how to arrange the two turbos in the engine bay. i have the ix cyl header shown in the first pic, but i also have access to two 3cyl. headers if needed. anyway i'll post some progress pics..
the first is just what i started with, all i had done was the valvecover made up(unpainted) and a muffler cut into 4 pieces and melted on the block to be where the second cam would be too.

whoops forgeot the second pic..
okay and hee is a second pic. i still need to make the intake and turbo exhaust and lean it up a bit, but thats all the pics for now.

update
update here...
i made the vavlecover alittle bit better or more like an RB...its still not done...i have to add a couple of caps for oil and still have to smooth it out a bit more on the top and paint it. just another question...where are the spark plugs too on this motor? are they in the side of the block or are they in the middle of the valvecover under that plate. also how long does testors putty in the brown tube take to become solid? any comments on how to make it better?

good idea!!
im doing the same kit... im kinda lost though... i painted the body and everything.. but i feel like stripping the paint and doing it over... wanna do some modifications but have no idea where to start can you post the pics of your body? i need ideas!! Thanks Goran
