a little progress, just cleaned up the body, removed the side repeaters and the molded door handles. also removed the rear badges. first coat of primer applied.

thats so cool to see someone else build this kit
heres what i did with mine i have a restorable one in the tubes too.
the one thing i have to say is get a better engine the revell golf would be the next best thing or rob the diecast for the 3.6 like i did

I have one of these too, was going to graft Revell Corrado front and rear bumpers on it but comparing the kit body to a Scirocco brochure and seeing how far off it is I lost enthusiasm for the project. Am hoping your build will get me on track again to get this baby built as I originally intended. Right now I just find the kit too depressing...

sbvwfanatic- great wheels!!! I've been trying to find the right combo and those look hot! Hope you and gtidude can work together within the same thread as between the two of you it will be really kewl to see how you each handle building this kit... and inspire me to get rolling with mine.
