99 plymouth voyager 3.0 releaving fuel pressure

hello,

my wife's 99 voyager fuel return line is intermittently leaking, i tried pulling the fuel pump fuse and cranking the engine but the starter would not crank with the f/p fuse pulled

do not see a schrader valve need to depressure system to make repairs any hints
