Central power locks W/ KEYLESS ENTRY screwing up, '93 Accord EX

Another imponderable of my '93 Accord EX wagon.
Recently the locks began locking and unlocking in various peculiar ways. Unlocking the gate with the key should open all the doors and gate, but now it opens the doors and won't unlock the gate. The lock button inside doesn't move all the way up or down, and it can only be opened by unlocking it from inside.
Unlocking the front doors with the key should also open the entire car, but only the passenger side has ever unlocked all the doors. Now when unlocking from the driver's door, sometimes it will let you in, and sometimes it re-locks itself before the door gets opened. Also, while driving, all the locks now click, click, click, like it's trying to lock or unlock itself.....if it is unlocked while driving, it locks all the doors, and continues trying to lock them. If it's locked, it still tries to lock itself. The buttons all just jump, and click.
The car does have factory keyless entry, which I have never seen on another '90-'93 Accord; it has never worked, the owner's manual makes zero mention of it, and even the dealer guys just scratched their heads.
They tried reprogramming it a couple of years ago with a new key, but were unsuccessful, and admitted they were unable to further diagnose it.
I myself have not found any information on the '93 Accord keyless entry system, but I suspect it is to blame for all the weirdness.
Does anyone know anything about this??
