hazard brake light fuse

my 97 jimmy keeps blowing hazard/brake fuses when i turn on hazards they work fine but when i hit the brake the fuse blows any ideas?

have you tryed replacing the hasard lite flasher? it may have a short in flasher causing this problem. if you never i'd change both flashers the turn signal flasher and the hazard flasher thats a start and not cost you very much if i'm taking you rite on hazard? also check your sockets where bulbs go may have a short and they also mite clean up or buy ne sockets one of the wires mite have a bare spot on it touching the frame on the hot side.
