Street Drift spec s15

Hey I'm new around here and decided to get back into model building after 10 years or so.

So here is my build of a japan street style s15 using a fujima 1/24. let me know what you guys think and any help will be appreciated.

fujima s15 w/impul rims,i think

origin lab style bodykit, still need to sand

plan to make them into deep dish wheels, just testing at moment

sloppy interior, scratch built cage and gauges

heres undercarriage and suspension ,wanted to go with a street look where you buy suspension parts for the product not the color, also wanted it to look like various tein products

This is looking sweet! The wide rear fenders look sweet and I like the rear windscreen spoiler!

A question: What putty did you use?

I've got a Mercury with some pretty big low spots in the roof because of a chop and if I sand to much, I will go through the plastic, like what has actually happened!

Re: Street Drift spec s15

slight update, built more crap for the undercarriage, again car didnt come with an engine so i have to improve other parts to compensate, new sway bar,and under body brace, made deep dish rims so i have the problem of the tires not fitting properly, any idea's anyone? car is very close to being complete,so expect some good updates soon.

Re: Street Drift spec s15

that is some deep offset. as for tires, you might need to get another set of tires and cut and splice them to make them wider.

Re: Street Drift spec s15

thnx for the suggestion, i still haven't decided how deep i want to go. So i made various pairs of rim lips, some fit within the stock body and others require the fender flares i made. In the end i may do it so that everything is interchangeable and not permanent with glue.

Re: Street Drift spec s15

okay so now i remeber why i quit, because i suck and lose patienance at the clear parts stage!!!!

here it is,about as done as im going to get it, im just gonna leave it before i get too aggravated and come back and fix things later

and i had to use an old interior pic because with the front bumper glued in place i cant get the body off with breaking it lose, also hard to photografh it now with the clear glass all around.
