AC Re-Charge for '96 A4

I recently bought an A4 Quattro that will need some work on the AC. Will eventually want to fill the Freon myself-----where the heck is the low pressure fitting??

Re: AC Re-Charge for '96 A4

i googled this for you...

first 2 answers says there's only a high side port...

http://wiki.answers.com/Q/How_can_yo...udi_a4_quattro

then, there's one guy that says you can remove a switch on the LOW SIDE to access the port

but, it looks like a tight fit for the R134A coupling to go into that port; i don't think the aftermarket kits would be able to fit into that schrader valve

looks like you're stuck going to a professional for this
