False Advertising - New photos of the Black F1 GT

Normally I wouldn't take much notice of screenshots from video games, but the quality has gotten so good from some of them now that you almost do a double take on whether these images are real at first.

I like to think that this is what we'd be able to enjoy if the Brunei Royal Family loaned their F1 GT to Octane or EVO magazine for an afternoon. Fat chance, I know...









The rear of the real longtails is nearly flat across the top, and doesn't slope down towards the rear spoiler like you see on this digital model, but otherwise I think they nailed the design fairly well.

Those are all clickable for a 1280x720 version and I figured they'd be appreciated by those who really like the GTs.

It's really evident in this photo:



The tail is a touch longer and the under wing is curved too far inward.

Regarding the GT in Forza 2 and 3 I have a sneaking suspicion that Turn Ten the makers of the game simply took one of the GTR racers and chopped the wing off and a few other minor details. If you look at a GTR and GT in Forza 3 back to back they are quite similar which in real life is not the case. I love racing the GTR in Forza 3 very much, it sounds awesome, I have both the FINA and the Gulf cars, still saving for the black Loctite car.
