car being painted today

well todays the big day, i stayed up till 12:00 last night prepping the car and finishing the bondo work. And theres still more sanding to do!! Im painting the car the stock red(rio red), and im painting the bumpers and mirrors. I alrerady primed my rear bumper and i was really surprised at how it came out. I also found out a way to get rid of those side moulding holes that are there when u shave the mouldings. All you do is use a fiberglass mesh. Then cover it in fiberglass, then start your bondo. it works out rreeally well

just a tid bit, don't go w/o a clea coat, even if the paint is made to go without it, the clear comes in handy when someone tries to key your car or rocks hit it... my neighbor has been painting cars almost his whole life and usually does about 5 coats of clear... soudns overdone, but his car has never had to be repainted for rockchips and someone tried to key it, all he did was buff it out...

5 coats protects against key'ers.. im gonna do that then. Cuz my paint job will end up being more expensive than the actual car is (car = $1,500 ) Im still thinking of design i got colorz down tho.
