2001 lincoln ls v8 won't start

Hi my ls won't start. My friend was driving it and take a corner. he said it just died on him. i replaced the starter, and got a new battery. when i turn the key now all i hear is a click in the fuse box under the hood. most of my lights work. my horn doesn't honk, my windshield wipers don't work, and it tells me to check the traction control. when i pressed the button for it nothings happens it stays on. Please help

I think that you may be in over your head if you thought that a starter would resolve those symptoms. If you don't have the tools (DMM, Ford OBDII scanner, wiring diagrams and service manual) and skills to troubleshoot this problem, then you need to take it to a dealer. The $90 diagnosis charge would have been less than the starter.

Otherwise, you could try replacing fuses.
