Wiper transmission

So I went to fix my wipers so they would not stick up any more and I bent the stop tab and it did not help any thing then I took off the wiper Transmission and realized there is a little tab that has broken off. The tab is on the stop bar of the transmission. I have called around and no one has it and the junk yards want to sell me the motor and every thing with it for $40 i think that is a bit to much for a used part. Any ideas on were to get a new one?

Re: Wiper transmission

I don't think most places will sell separate parts of the wiper assembly...I picked up the whole thing for 30ish from Ed Morad parts in Cleveland OH. He has a shop specializing in GM w-body cars and has an eBay store.
