95.5 Rodeo Head Bolt Removal

3.2L, 160,000 miles. I was going to change my head gaskets. I noticed that someone was in there before me and stripped one of the 6mm socket head bolts. How can I remove it now?

Re: 95.5 Rodeo Head Bolt Removal

Yikes. That's bad. I might try to find a slightly bigger allen socket and force it into the bolt head as far as possible. If that doesn't work, then drilling the head off is probably your only other option.

Tried using larger hex but that rounded off as well. Going to try drilling. Thanks.
