1997 pontiac grand prix front hub sensor test

i own a 1997 pontiac grand prix, the abs & trac-lights come on and will not go off till turn off car. i been hearing a noise in front passenger side when starting out and seems to fade away after running a few miles. my question is can you test sensor on the hub with a multimeter to see if what side is bad and if so what are the readings?

Yes. On ohms just go across the two pins located at the electrical connector hub side. You should see a reading of around 1K ohms resistance. Also, you can check the sensor output but it requires turning the wheel.
