08 escape-front wheel woobling

has anyone noted a shimy in the front. when brakes applied.
we noted in a panic or hard stop, the wheel literally pulls to the right or left, then the computer kicks in and no more pulling during that drive.
the dealership appears unconcerned about this pull & the shimy.
feel like your driving on ball bearing.
as the lemon aid guides points out..the computer drives the car, we just steer it. Kind of scary
