Silverado acting strang

Without any rhyme of reason my 2004 Silverado will start up with the ABS light and emergency brake light on. The AC\Heat wont work, i have no head lights, the windshield wipers don't work either. The Radio works though (just thought i'd toss that in there).

Any idea what is going on? It just happened a second time to me when i was going into town. When i got back into the car to go home, the problem was no longer there.

Re: Silverado acting strang

When multiple things in the electrics go wrong all at once, I immediately suspect a bad ground connection or wire. Find a wiring diagram for the circuits that are affected and trace them back to the suspect ground...alot of times you'll find they all go to the same one. Good luck!

our vehicles have bad grounds..GM did not properly clean, secure, and seal these frame/engine ground points..remove the battery neg terminal then clean and reinstall these grounds ..coat with a solvent based undercoater to prevent this again..

the ground under the driver seat, frame rail area is #1 failure ground,,,lots of issues with that one..
