p10 exhaust

so i just saw my mechanic and said i wanted to do an exhaust and he said that i shouldn*t. he said it*s not "worth the trouble" anyone care to disagree? should i just go to some perfomance specialty shop?

I don't think it's worth it if you're looking to gain performance. The SR20 powered cars just don't make any real hp with exhausts. About 2-5 at the very best.
