2005 Grand Marquis EATC problem
Questionss:
1. Does a 2005 model have a self test? 2. I have replaced the Blend Door Actuator - the new one does not work. Is there a code that needs to be reset? If so, how? 3. Will leaving the battery disconnected overnight make something reset. 4. Forgot, all fuses are OK. Chased wire backwards - don't see any problems. HELP!!!!! Mike |

Re: 2005 Grand Marquis EATC problem
I'm not too familiar with it, but it should have a self-test. I don't have my manual on hand at the moment but IIRC it was something like holding Floor, Auto, and Off at the same time.
I'm not sure the EATC stores codes to be reset but disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes should reset all memory (including your learned PCM parameters and possibly saved radio stations).
