Key programmed for a 1999 mercury mountaineer
Is there a way to program a new key because i only have 1 key don't want to go to a dealer? It's for a 1999 mercury mountaineer.

If you only have one key your options are either the dealer or a reasonably well-equipped locksmith. You may want to get two more keys made so if you lose one you can cut and program a new one yourself, or purchase a new transponder blank, have it cut, the program it yourself before you lose another one.
