Except Brougham

Hello again I was shopping for shocks and springs for my 89 Caprice and there's almost always a selection for brougham or in the description it will say "Except Brougham". Is there any reason why there would be different shocks or springs for the Brougham?

I never seen that before...so I looked it up ...the shocks like monroe use the same part for both vehicles..not that I would use a monroe shock ,,,......

the police /taxi / wagon would be a different comfort level / load capacity but will still work in a standard caprice ..

springs are the problem with these vehicles ...alot of low quality junk ...many have spring issues with the replacements...
