2001 Grand Am ignition switch
I just purchased a 2001 Grand Am and the ignition switch gets stuck and doesn't turn all the time. You have to wiggle it several times before it will eventually turn than everything works as normal. I think the switch needs to be changed but not sure what I need to do. I can do most work like this once I get some instructions. Can anyone provide some advice or diagrams on how to change please? Also is there any security on that year of car if the switch is changed will need programming?

Re: 2001 Grand Am ignition switch
You just need the ignition tumbler. The part the key goes into.
