Engine bogs down at 39mph

Been having this problem for a long time and its driving me up the wall. Everytime I get my 2.2L up to 39mph you can hear the engine fighting for power as well as the rpms going way down. Just wondering if anyone here might know where I could start with this problem.

What is year of vehicle? How long since a tune-up? Use a gage abd check fuel pressure. Can you check for applicable trouble codes?

Try cleaning the MAF sensor (Mass Airflow). That fixed mine.

Re: Engine bogs down at 39mph

Have you change your fuel filter lately, I had the same prob with my truck would run just fine but when I got up to speed it would start to bog out. Pull your fuel filter and see if you cant blow throw it with ease if it hard to blow throw then then it is plugged up and you are not getting the fuel prasher you need. It will also start to put to much of a load on your fuel pump and it will go out.
