04 Taurus Mach Radio replacement

Is there an address(number) in the rear mach amp,that has to be programed if you replace it,or on the same note the front radio controller(cassette in this case) Or is it just plug and play or are they married together until reprogramed,I notice ford has a data link pair so the two can talk to each other(prob talk to alot of other devices in car)
Am I going to have to go to a dealer to get the used Mach amp readressed,or does someone have a adaptor cable and software so I can do it with a laptop?????????????????

I believe the SCP data lines are just for the diagnostics, I don't believe there is any specific addressing between them. There was not a reprogram procedure for 2002, I don't have the manual for 2004 though.
