Ofifice Tube Location

Hi,

I was wondering where the orifice tube is on my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. I've looked and looked and have no idea where the piece is located. A picture and location would be nice if possible.

Thx

Re: Ofifice Tube Location

The orifice tube is under the power brake booster/master cylinder and ABS modulator. From what I've read from other members, it's VERY difficult to get to.

Re: Ofifice Tube Location

you'd be best served removing the airbox for access. It's in the high pressure line that runs from the evaporator core to the condenser just toward the back of the car from where the pressure switch screws on the line.

Re: Ofifice Tube Location

If I remove the airbox is the Orifice tube easily accessable or is it still difficult to reach?

Thx

Re: Ofifice Tube Location

I have the same issue but I have a 2000 firebird 3.8, and I was wondering the same thing. Sorry, this thread might be old but this is the closest I've been to finding anything related to my car.
