Nice races, it was close.

Side note: Does nobody race dig races anymore? I know the whole traction thing but c'mon, go out there and dig. Roll racing vs dig racing skill level is worlds apart. Racing from a dig takes a lot, roll racing takes next to none. Either way, two nice cars!

Video FTW!!! I would own either car. Both are a handful on the street even stock.

I have not had the pleasure to run a Cobalt SS SC/TC but a GTO 6.0 pulled on me a little bit one time.

I see a camera set-up in my future.

Damn, you are pushing that little baby turbo for all its worth! Good looking run, I should get a camera set up, lol. I've been working with a customer on getting his SS/SC pretty quick, but it looks like your Cobalt can scoot.

Make sure you get a filter for it! Buddy of mine didn't spend the extra $20 for an inline AEM filter for his meth, the injector got clogged up, and now he has a fully built motor. Funny how that works out.

I don't know how many of the SS/TC guys have gone this route yet, but just off the top of my head, have you looked into changing out the turbo? I know on my car, that K04 is just blowing hot air past 20 pounds of boost. I'm pretty sure that Ecotec has a decent head design and it doesn't have the rev range of a damn diesel motor like my MZR does, so I bet you could run a 3071 or 35r pretty easily.

I like how you list on Youtube the fact that it has a LS2 as a modification.

It seems like a lot of the guys on that forum come off as douche bags but are cool in person. Weird how that works lol. Slow Sho just likes to give people reality checks

Re: 2009 cobalt ss vs 2005 m6 6.0 gto!!

Nice race I saw a lightly worked TT cobalt at the track and that thing hauled, it was doing 111/112mph in the 1/4 regularly.
