Dino 246 Lemans 1972 1/24th for Ferrari Expo 2010

Here is another model I built for Ferrari Expo 2010. It is based on the 1/24th Fujimi Dino 246. I added flares and vents, a Hobby Design photo etch set and my own headlight covers. I also added a set of Ioan Tifrea's superb 1/24th resin wheels and my own decals. Studio 27 did make a decal sheet for this car. Great job on the Dino and all the others you had at the show. They look even better in person. Any chance of a Scale Designs transkit? Maybe some more details of the needed mods? Thanks again for a great show, looking forward to next years Ferrari Expo.

Thanks for all your nice comments. This was a hard model to do because of the vents and windows. I do like the Dino 246, so I had to do one.
The only other versions I was thinking about doing were the Dino 206GT from Sebring 1969(206GT looks the same but has a shorter wheelbase) and the green Nurburgring 246GT.

Hi Mike, No plans for a transkit. I would get the wheels from Ioan and the detail set from Hobby Design. Try to find a decal sheet from Studio 27 for this car. The body mods were not that hard to do other than the vents!!
