Right front bounces when accelerating
1997 3.5 intrepid,, Only when accelerating my right front jumps or bounces. Its not the engine mounts and its not the tires. All the ball joints and front end components are tight . Any suggestions? im thinking the cv axle maybe?

Re: Right front bounces when accelerating
Ok , Heres the answer . It is the cv halfshaft, passenger side. Has quite a bit of play going into the transaxke. Now my question is do i need anything else to change that out besides the shaft?

Re: Right front bounces when accelerating
while you're there, check the ball joint for excessive play & the boot is not ripped & leaking grease. Also check your tie rod end for the same thing. These inner tie rods on these cars are also known for going bad and having excessive play.

Re: Right front bounces when accelerating
Thanks for replying. Yes those were the first things i checked for . They are in good shape. I replaced halfshaft in less than 2 hrs, piece of cake! Its smooth rideing now. The thing that got me was that the core charge was more than the part itself , lmao! thanks again.
