2003 mustang gt clutch
Hey everyone I'm looking to change my clutch. The release bearing on my current one went bad and I was told I might as well change the whole clutch instead of just the bearing. I've never realized how many different clutches there are that fit my car and now I don't know which brand to replace it with. My only mods are CAI and exhaust. Probably won't be to many more performance mods for about a year.
I found this one for $250
FIDANZA 4.3 PERFORMANCE CLUTCH KIT -- 11 in. disc diameter, 10 spline x 1.062 in. input shaft, ceramic disc material, 6-paddle disc style, diaphragm pressure plate style; With throwout bearing and alignment tool; Does not include pilot bushing, flywheel, counter assist and mounting hardware; Offers excellent grip upon initial engagement; Provides an increased performance and eliminates clutch slippage; With steel backing for durability and longer life; Comes with engineered torsion damper and Marcel cushion to engage smoothly and quickly; Designed for vehicles with several aftermarket modifications.
Has anyone used this clutch or should I keep searching? The cars parked and I have a back-up car for now so no real rush but I do miss driving the stang.
