Fuel Pump issues

i have just replaced a fuel pump on my 98 neon and it started up and then shut off after about 5 minutes. there is electricity running to the pump just not kicking it over what could be the problem

have put 4 fuel pumps in my car and they keep failing somebody please help me what is the problem

i have put 2 remanufactured fuel pumps in my car and one from a neon that was heading for scrap and all of them failed on me
i have replaced the relays what could be going on somebody please help me

Did you check the proper wire for voltage? If you have good voltage, check the black ground circuit.

where would that be located on the vehicle

put in another pump a few days ago it ran then died the one remanuactured pump ran outside of the car my dad tested it by running voltage to it something else must be causing it to not stay running when the car is being driven. it idles fine but when i start to move it it dies on me after 10 minutes or so

I would find the fuel pump relay, and perhaps replace that.

What leads you to believe that it is the fuel pump causing your problem, do you have a fuel pressure gauge hooked up, if so do you have the proper ground and voltage, do you have wiring diagram

my dad has tested the voltage and it is good the runs fine on idle and then after i drive it for a while it will shutoff and the pump will not fire back up but there is voltage going to the pump after it shuts off
