what should i do?

if i have a 91 civic si and i wanna do a swap should i go ls or b16?

If you're goin all motor go b16. Goin turbo go ls. You can also turbocharge the b16 if you want. i would get the b16 but thats me.

Hi, Kris, and welcome.
"It depends." That's the appropriate answer for just about everything in life.
The B16, especially the head, has a better design than the B18. It'll rev higher and last longer.
It is lacking in torque. This only makes a difference if you are constantly going straight up monstrous hills, pulling a trailer, or if you weigh over 300 pounds or carry around a buddy or girlfriend in that same category. Street racing is another realm in which torque is more important than horsepower. As well as mud bogs and tractor pulls.
There's plenty of info on this forum, so get ready to spend some quality time searching.

PS-If my dad had a Honda, he'd need the B18. Maybe someday I will, too.

if u want torque then find urself a b16a head and try to find a gsr short block.

u know i might just go b18 vtec cuz i found one for $150 and thats more my style anyways. thanx guys.
