'02 Grand Prix bent subframe

My daughter hit a curb and bent the subframe and lower control arm. Does anyone know if the parts from an '01 Olds Intrigue will fit?

Re: '02 Grand Prix bent subframe

Which engine does your daughter have in her GP?

As far as the subframe assembly I doubt it but it doesn't hurt to check with a GM dealership parts department or our resident parts specialist. The GM parts numbers are different and that year Intrigue uses the 3.5L V6 "Shortstar" engine which mounts differently.

Re: '02 Grand Prix bent subframe

Shortstar? HAHA! Good One! So I suppose the shortstar's reliability is about the same as the northstar's?

To the OP, If I were to need a subframe, I'd grab an aluminum one out of an impala. I have seen guys bolt them in directly as a weight saving MOD.

Close. T-Mobile Motorola CLIQ XT Smartphone with Android 1.5 OS. Not exactly a Droid but close enough. Nice running on 3G or WiFi.

Re: '02 Grand Prix bent subframe

The only issues I have with these new smartphones is I need to use reading glasses to see the display and my finger is too big for the touch screen numbers and letters.

I ordered a stylus pen like for PDAs. Other than that pretty nifty device especially if you are over the hill....over 40. .......

Don't worry Tim your time will come one day. Just a matter of time. When you get older your vision normally goes to pot.

My regular vision is actually good just the astigmatism issue. Right eye 20/20, left 20/25. Last year I got new trifocal glasses. Top for normal everyday vision, middle for computer use and bottom for reading. But you have to tilt your head in 3 different positions to effectively use those type glasses.

Re: '02 Grand Prix bent subframe

Sorry Bob, I couldn't resist. I hope you arent mad.

My vision is already bad. I inhereted farsighted view from my dad, and an astigmatizm in both my eyes from my mom. Up untill about 2005 the only option was thick glasses. So I looked like a pretty big nerd. Then with technology advances, I now have contacts. Less Nerdy. Too bad they run over 250.00 for a year supply, and last time, my insurance only covered a little less than half.

Re: '02 Grand Prix bent subframe

I heard that for men, three things usually go out as you get older, 1) Your vision, 2) Your memory, and 3) I can't remember the third thing.
