Just wondering if anyone knows who might sell a Outer Joint Boot Cover for a Ford Windstar that can be placed over the drive axle instead of having to remove the drive axle itself?
I found one that I thought would be awesome if we could get one that fits our vehicle. Below is a link for what we are looking for but Beck-Arnley doesn't seem to have one for a Windstar. Any help would be greatly appreciated! http://www.amazon.com/Beck-Arnley-10...=pd_sbs_auto_1

Re: Broken CV Boot Cover
Rock Auto Parts (online) http://www.rockauto.com/index.php? and probably other auto parts suppliers has this type of CV joint boots. I'm not sure about the long term solution to fix this problem.

Re: Broken CV Boot Cover
it's just a band-aid... it'll leak grease out of that open seam & will just buy you time to save up for a full cv shaft...
if it's clicking on turns already, that band-aid isn't worth it |

Re: Broken CV Boot Cover
I agree with above posts ... the replacement axle is very available and not very difficult to replace,
