I have a 4 door 3.1 engine 1995 lumina (car, not van), and the psi sticker in my trunk is apparently missing. The owners manual says 'refer the the sticker in your trunk'.
So I just need to know what PSI is correct for my model, or a place I could obtain that info. I already tried autozone.com Thank you for your help. |

Re: Correct Tire Pressure - 95 lumina 4d 3.1
Those are usually 30 to 33 psi. Do not use the rating on the tire. The tire should be set to the vehicle manufacturers spec.

So my lumina specs are 30-33? or are you saying that's a general PSI?
I just want to make sure I do it correctly ![]() Does anyone else have a '95 Lumina with the original trunk sticker? Correct specs would be fantastic! |

Re: Correct Tire Pressure - 95 lumina 4d 3.1
i have 98, same body design as yours. my trunk says 30psi for both front and rear. that is measured with tire cold (~60-80F degrees outside), driving heats them up and what was 30psi cold may be 32psi hot after driving 20 miles.

Re: Correct Tire Pressure - 95 lumina 4d 3.1
They will go up or down roughly 1 psi for every 10 degrees F. of temperature change.

Re: Correct Tire Pressure - 95 lumina 4d 3.1
In most cases, the psi on the tire sidewall is the max psi the tire is designed for. While you can use up to that number, its best for the car to use the factory recommended, which is 30 for front and rear for the Lumina. I keep mine between 30 and 32 depending on weather.
